Regular Season Round 12: Spartak - Mega BG 110-86

One of the most interesting games of round 12 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Subotica where sixth rankedSpartak outleveled visiting Mega BG (6-6) 110-86 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mega BG. Spartak made 26-of-31 charity shots (83.9 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Mega BG 34-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. Spartak players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Mega BG was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American guard Devon Daniels (196-1998, college: NC State, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 18 points. Center Dusan Miletic (213-1998) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Bogoljub Markovic (210-2005) replied with 23 points and Bosnian guard Kosta Kondic (193-2001) added 17 points in the effort for Mega BG. Five Spartak and four Mega BG players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
